About this model
<p>This stylish ratcheting stool design allows you to set your sitting height with a strong and fun toothed wooden ratchet.</p> <p><strong>Fair warning building this is quite some work!</strong></p> <p>Parts required:</p> <ul> <li>About 500gm of filament</li> <li>3x M8 bolts 90mm in length, ideally as pictured</li> <li>Lumber, this is designed for laminating nominal 4in by 1in boards to a finished size of (2.22x3.5). If using different thickness boards adjust the pivot width and bolt length.</li> <li>12x small lumber screws (if you are building this I expect have enough screws on hand to just pick some that seem right)</li> </ul> <p>Process:</p> <ul> <li>Print the teeth_tamplate_arc_hook and use it to mark, cut, and route the teeth into your lumber</li> <li>Print the ChairNut twice one for top and bottom. Drill appropriate holes for it using a 1in (25.6mm) bit and 10mm bit. The nut contains printed threads no nuts needed.</li> <li>Make some kind of foot and seat base (chef's choice)</li> <li>Then print the locking ratchet locking parts and assemble.</li> </ul> <p><em>note: If people are serious about making this I can update these instructions to clarify any points of confusion</em></p> Category: Household
