Cottagecore Garden Décor

Mushroom houses, fairy garden pieces and woodland-inspired décor, hand-printed in our UK workshop.

Building a cottagecore corner

Cottagecore planting is really about layers rather than individual pieces. The look comes from a few different heights in the same small area: something at ground level, something at planting height and something above the border.

In practice that means a fairy house or a cluster of toadstools tucked low into a border, a bird feeder at eye level, and a wind spinner or windmill above it for movement. One of each in a two metre stretch reads as deliberate. The same three pieces spread across a whole garden reads as scattered.

Living with printed décor outdoors

Everything here is printed in PLA, which handles British weather well but does not love months of direct summer sun on a south-facing wall. Under planting, in dappled shade or on a north or east aspect, these pieces hold their colour for years. In full unbroken sun, expect the brighter colours to soften first.

Frequently asked questions

Can cottagecore garden décor stay outside all year?
Yes. PLA copes with rain, frost and British winters. The thing to avoid is prolonged direct summer sun, which will fade bright colours over time. Shaded or dappled positions last longest.
Where should I put a fairy house in the garden?
Low and partly hidden works best, tucked into a border, at the base of a shrub or beside a path so it is found rather than displayed.
Can I order more than one mushroom ornament?
Yes. It is a single design, and you can order as many as you like. Because the cap colour is chosen on the product page, add them one at a time to give each mushroom a different cap and build a mixed group.
Do mushroom ornaments look better in groups?
Yes. Clusters read as natural where a single toadstool tends to look placed. Odd numbers scatter best, and varying the cap colours stops a group of the same design looking repetitive.
Will the colours fade?
Slowly, and only in strong direct sunlight. Deeper colours hold longer than pastels.
