About this model
<p>For those in the medical field or, in school to be in the medical field, work or school can be a hard pill to swallow. This pen/pencil box will help you keep your writing instruments handy.<br><br>I did my design completely in TinkerCAD.<br><br>Print settings:<br>0.4 nozzle, 0.12 layer height, 4 walls, 15% gyroid infill, supports are needed. for the shell parts. I used normal supports, 0.28mm top Z distance and ironing enabled for the support interface. This gave me a nice finish on the rounded inside of the shell parts.<br><br>I assembled it with a few drops of CA glue.<br>Glue the left and right bottom shells on the base. Set it aside for the glue to dry.<br>Then, glue the left and right top shells together. Also set it aside for the glue to set.<br>Now, glue the stem to the recess in the bottom of the pill handle. When that glue is set, glue the stepm to the recess in the top shell halves. Allow to dry.<br>The top shell simply rests on the base with the tabs fitting into the grooves.<br><br>The original was made as a gift for a pharmacist friend and I customized it with their initials (see photos).<br>The initials have been removed in the STL / 3MF files. You should be able to add them easily in your slicer or 3D modeling software, if desired.<br> </p>
