About this model
<p>This road cycling bookmark is inspired by one of the most iconic experiences in cycling: climbing through the mountains on a winding road.</p><p>The design combines a road cyclist, dramatic mountain scenery, and a sequence of sweeping curves to create a simple but highly recognizable cycling-themed piece.</p><p>The model has been specifically designed for two-color printing. Black and white PLA are used at different heights so the final print reproduces the high-contrast appearance of the original artwork. Because the colors change by layer, no AMS or multi-material unit is required — simply pause the print at the appropriate height and change the filament.</p><p>The finished model has a total thickness of approximately 2 mm, making it thin enough to work well as a bookmark while still providing enough rigidity for regular use.</p><p>Recommended settings:</p><ul><li><p>0.4 mm nozzle</p></li><li><p>Black and white PLA</p></li><li><p>0.08 mm layer height</p></li><li><p>2 mm total model thickness</p></li><li><p>Print directly on the build plate</p></li><li><p>No supports</p></li><li><p>Color change by layer</p></li></ul><p>For the best visual result, use two PLA colors with strong contrast.
