About this model
<p>A little anchor ring meant to be screwed into a sturdy fence to allow it to be used in place of a garden stake/ cane. The sunflowers I grew this year got too tall for any of the canes I had laying around so I figured I'd throw this together so I could tie my sunflowers directly to the fence instead.</p><p>I printed using Sunlu peanut brown PETG with no supports but you may want to add some light supports for the inside of the ring, should print well in PLA but PETG is betterfor long term outdoor use. I printed with a 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.2mm layer height and 50% honeycomb infil with 4 walls but that is absolutely overkill for this.</p><p>Print with the flat side on the plate and add supports as needed, this should be perfectly fine to scale as you need. Once printed just screw into a fence where needed with the ring oriented so a tie will go through the ring and around the stem of the plant without twisting.</p><p>The screw hole should be sized at 5mm but any wood screw that goes through te hole with a big enough head should be fine.</p>
