About this model
<p>Our front gate was built from uncapped 60x40x2mm box sections. Yellowjackets decided our gate is free real estate, these caps are for keeping them away from nesting there.</p><p>I printed my model from black PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle on my Bambu Lab A1. I set the bottom surface pattern to "Concentric" to get that nice X-shaped pattern on the face of the cap.</p><p>During installation it's normal for one or two clips to break. Our gate was built 60 years ago, the clips were designed to snap when they hit large paint blobs from previous repaints, metal burrs, weld seams, hardened dirt or profile deformities. That's why I added 16 separate clips to the model.</p>
