About this model
<p>At 100% scale, the ghost is approximately 53x33x50 mm. It makes a fun little Halloween decoration for a desk, shelf, party, classroom, or wherever you need a tiny ghost attempting to be intimidating. Print one or print enough to form a tiny ghost army. The attached .3mf contains an army of 30.</p><p>If you scale the ghost significantly larger, check the sliced preview before printing. The overhang angles do not change when scaling, but unsupported areas become physically larger, so very large versions may behave differently. Scaling up will also increase wall thickness. I might upload some larger sizes later that maintain the same wall thickness.</p><p>Using the Arachne wall generator rather than Classic made a big improvement in both print quality and print time on this model. The curved body, arms, and varying wall thicknesses benefit from Arachne's variable extrusion widths. It produces much cleaner toolpaths than the Classic wall generator on this particular geometry.</p><p>The bottom features a thickened perimeter for added strength without significantly increasing filament use. A slight bevel around the lower edge also makes the ghost more comfortable to handle and, as a bonus, a little less likely to draw blood when your kid leaves one on the floor for you to step on in the middle of the night.</p>
