About this model
<p>A wall mount for the Harman Kardon CEN TS20/30 center speaker, the center channel from the HKTS 20 and HKTS 30 5.1 systems. I couldn't find a bracket for it, so I made one.<br><br>I modeled it last weekend, and it's currently mounted to my wall with the speaker on top. Turned out much sturdier than expected.</p><p>Designed in Shapr3D. I don't plan to change it, so the STEP is there for you to make it your own.</p><h4>How it works</h4><p>The mount screws to the wall, and the speaker sits on it. It's stable there on its own, but speakers vibrate, so I also screwed the speaker to the mount using the screw holes on the bottom of the speaker. Double-sided tape would probably do the job too. A notch in the mount lets the speaker cable exit at the back, hidden behind the bracket.</p><h4>Size</h4><p>100mm wide, 54mm deep, 50mm tall. The base is 10mm thick, both underneath the speaker and proud from the wall.</p><p>The actual speaker is 80mm x 44mm, so I modeled it around that as the baseplate and added 10mm in the back for both extra margin from the wall and somewhere to put the cable channel.</p><h4>Printing</h4><p>No supports. What I used:</p><ul><li><p>ABS, 0.6 mm nozzle, 0.3 mm layers</p></li><li><p>2 walls with alternate extra wall enabled, 13% infill</p></li></ul><p>I'm pretty sure PETG and PLA both would be fine too.</p><h4>Mounting</h4><ul><li><p>Bracket to Wall: two M5 screws.
