About this model
<p><strong>Stand for a wooden cross as a memorial.</strong></p><p><strong>When everything seems dark</strong></p><ul><li><p>The stand appears black, but upon closer inspection, it contains tiny white specks; when light strikes it, it creates a shimmer. It is much the same when someone has passed away: everything seems dark, yet if you look closely, there are still small points of light.</p></li><li><p>The circle symbolizes the earth and life, with its ups and downs (represented by the smooth top and rough side).</p></li><li><p>The circle begins and ends at the cross; in other words, Jesus is present at the beginning of life and at its end.</p></li><li><p>Inside the circle stands the tree of life—or rather, two trees.</p></li><li><p>The trunks are separate, reflecting how, upon death, one is parted from a loved one here on earth.</p></li><li><p>However, the branches remain intertwined, forming the shape of a heart; this signifies that love and memories of the deceased endure.</p></li><li><p>The empty cross (symbolizing the Resurrection) is positioned diagonally above the circle and the tree of life.
