About this model
<p>The design of the cab and its mounting structure are quite good, however there is a large wrinkle of sorts right in my line of sight. I found that if I added tension right above my head it un-furled the wrinkle…how to attach the fiberglass cross piece to the fiberglass structure…</p><p>Ended up using an old arrow cut to length but the tension doesn’t seem quite right. Plan is to get a piece of fiberglass as an upgrade to increase tension a bit</p><p>Modeled up a simple design and printed with PETG. </p><p>There are three variations—</p><p>9.525; both the upright and crossmember are 3/8”</p><p>6.35; both the upright and the crossmember are 1/4”</p><p>Hybrid; the upright is 1/4” and the crossmember is 3/8”—this is the one I used and it works great</p>
