About this model
<p>I had a Ring Doorbell V2 that completely failed twice, even though it was hardwired and the battery was always kept charged. So I switched to the wired version without a battery.</p><p>However, I was left with some ugly holes in my wall that weren’t compatible with the new doorbell. So I cobbled together this simple adapter plate quick and dirty, which allows the doorbell to be securely screwed onto it and mounted using the existing holes.</p><p>This plate is mounted on the wall, using the existing holes and the original mounting plate from the new doorbell is mounted on this plate</p>
