About this model
<h3>Twisted Vortex Bowl</h3><p>A printed catch-all bowl whose flutes spiral out of a small foot and open into a wide rim. The bowl widens as it turns, so the flutes sweep rather than run straight up — it reads as a whirlpool, and the highlight moves across it as you walk past.</p><p><strong>46 mm foot · 78 mm across the rim</strong> (87 mm across the twisted corners) · <strong>45 mm tall</strong> · holds about <strong>115 ml</strong> · around <strong>30 g</strong> · one part · no supports · no glue · no hardware.</p><h3>Every flute climbs at the same angle</h3><p>On a bowl that flares, a twist costs more at the rim than at the foot: the same few degrees of turn sweep twice as much of the rim, which tips the flute walls over into an overhang. So the turn here is set by a <strong>climb rate</strong> rather than by a total angle, and it eases off as the bowl widens. Every flute leaves the foot and meets the rim at the same slope, 66 degrees of turn in total, and nothing on the outside of the bowl faces down by more than 36 degrees.</p><p>The wall is <strong>1.9 mm at the bottom of a flute</strong> at every height: the cavity follows the same flared, turning profile as the shell rather than being a plain cone cut into a decorated outside.
