About this model
<p>Meet the Axolotl! 🦎</p><p>The axolotl is one of the most fascinating creatures in the underwater world!</p><p>Its scientific name is Ambystoma mexicanum. It is a unique salamander native to the freshwater canals of Xochimilco in Mexico City.</p><p>The axolotl is famous for its adorable appearance, feathery external gills, and extraordinary ability to regenerate lost body parts, including its legs, tail, and even parts of its heart and brain!</p><p>Unlike most salamanders, the axolotl spends its entire life in water and retains its youthful features even as an adult.</p><p>Axolotls feed on worms, insects, and small fish. They can grow up to 30 centimeters long and typically live for 10 to 15 years in captivity.</p><p>Sadly, wild axolotls are critically endangered due to habitat loss, water pollution, and invasive species.</p><p>The axolotl is a remarkable reminder of the incredible diversity of life on our planet. Protecting its natural habitat is essential for its survival!</p>
