About this model
<p>When the original NuTone intercom doorbell at my house stopped working, I decided to reuse the existing wiring and upgrade it to a modern Ring wired doorbell.</p><p>The challenge was the giant, oddly shaped opening left behind by the old intercom. Instead of patching the stone or removing the old mounting location, I designed a custom 3D printed cover plate that keeps the look of the original while giving it a clean home for a modern smart doorbell.</p><p>This was printed in PLA as a quick solution, and surprisingly it has held up for over a year.
