About this model
<p>I had a very curious toddler running around the house and wanted a way to lock down an IKEA cabinetswith games and puzzles. Small puzzle pieces and toddlers don't go well together. I ended up creating this bracket that just clips onto the base rail of the BRIMNES TV Stand by IKEA. </p><h3>Printing</h3><p>I opted to use black PETG so it would be less brittle than PLA and also slightly stronger. I'd recommend opting for more walls (3-4) if you really want it to be strong. It can easily flex out of the way at its ultimate length. </p><h3>Installation</h3><p>You can either take the door out or just look underneath. Above all else, please use common sense. If you assembled the TV stand yourself, I assume you don't need instructions, but here they are:</p><h4>Option 1: Removing the door</h4><ol><li><p>Take the door off by sliding it out and lifting the back at the end of travel</p></li><li><p>Slide the clip in from top to bottom</p></li><li><p>Reinsert door, being careful to not hit the clip</p></li></ol><h4>Option 2: Keeping door in place</h4><p><strong>Note:</strong> there is a support rail in the middle of the door. Do not try to install the hook in the middle - install it about 1/2 to the middle, then slide it when in place</p><ol><li><p>1/4 of the length of the drawer (halfway to the middle) from either side, feed in the hook in the same orientation it is printed</p></li><li><p>Align the square opening and the base bracket, rotate 90 degrees so it is "clipped…
