About this model
<p>This is a garden wind spinner with spiralling text. Made in the form of some cheap plastic spinners.</p><p>The text is the lyrics "The Windmills of Your Mind" by Noel Harrison (<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="editor-link" href="https://genius.com/Noel-harrison-the-windmills-of-your-mind-lyrics">https://genius.com/Noel-harrison-the-windmills-of-your-mind-lyrics</a>).</p><h4>Slicing/printing</h4><p>I used 0.2-mm layer height with concentric infill throughout. The base has six layers totalling 1.2 mm, followed by three layers of text. When deployed, it's around 92cm high. If you want it shorter or longer, you could thicken or unthicken the base layer in the slicer.</p><p>I used Geetech white PLA and Prusa Galaxy purple PLA, but PETG would be a better choice. There are central holes for suspending it - I used fishing line.</p><p>Many thanks to @Openscaddad for his code, and Noel Harrison for the lyrics.</p><p>Feedback welcome! I plan to publish a similar model with different text.</p>
