About this model
<p>This is a Sci-Fi style switch converter that transforms a normal wall switch into a futuristic looking control switch. It uses a custom mechanical design that fits over the existing switch without modifying the electrical wiring. There are 5 parts, should be printed separately.</p><p><strong>Instructions to Assemble: (after printing the 5 parts)</strong></p><ol><li><p>Paste magnets into the <strong>enclosure-bottom</strong> magnet grooves, making sure the poles are opposite to the magnets on the <strong>enclosure-lid-top</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Paste magnets into the <strong>enclosure-lid-top</strong> magnet grooves, with the opposite poles facing the magnets in the <strong>enclosure-bottom</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Press-fit the <strong>lid-movement</strong> into the <strong>enclosure-lid-top</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Use super glue to attach the <strong>inner-knob</strong> to the bottom center of the <strong>lid-movement</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Assemble the <strong>enclosure-lid-top</strong> onto the <strong>enclosure-bottom</strong> using the magnets. The <strong>inner-knob</strong> should align with the existing wall switch.</p></li><li><p>Place the <strong>knob</strong> onto the outer part of the <strong>lid-movement</strong>. The knob can now be used to press and control the original wall switch through the mechanism.</p></li><li><p>Your SciFi switch converter is now ready to use.
