About this model
<p>This is a blueprint-style representation of the Bussard Ramjet, created as a tribute to physicist <strong>Robert W. Bussard</strong>, who designed the original concept.</p><p>It is an approximation of the original design plans shown in Carl Sagan's <em>Cosmos</em>, Episode 8: <em>Journeys in Space and Time</em>.</p><p>The model is available either as a complete piece or divided into four parts, making it suitable for printing on a 220 × 220 mm 3D printer.</p><p>If you want to print it in two colors but do not have a multicolor 3D printer, the model has been designed so that you can manually pause the print and change the filament.</p><p>Alternatively, it can be printed in a single color and the raised details can be painted by hand.</p>
