About this model
<p>Golden Hour Lantern is a cylindrical lantern for an LED tealight. Its wall is a sunset sky made of 11 stacked ColorMix bands, running from a yellow horizon through orange, coral, magenta and purple to a slate-blue night.</p><p>WHY IT SUITS COLORMIX</p><p>- The whole sky is a vertical wall, the surface where layer-by-layer mixing looks cleanest.</p><p>- The wall is 0.9 mm (two perimeters) to make the most of the filament's translucency.</p><p>- Three mountain ridges stand 0.9, 1.8 and 2.7 mm proud of the wall, each in a darker mix.</p><p>- The sun, a crescent moon and 54 stars are pure White set through the full wall thickness.</p><p>DETAILS</p><p>- Diameter 90 mm, height 122 mm, inner diameter 82 mm, 1.7 mm floor</p><p>- The sun faces the front of the bed and the seam is set to the rear</p><p>- LED tealights only. Do not use a real candle in a PLA print.</p><p>THE FILE</p><p>- PrusaSlicer 2.9.6 project for the Original Prusa XL 5T (Input Shaper, 0.4 mm nozzle), 0.15mm SPEED profile</p><p>- One object with 16 bodies, each already assigned to its extruder</p><p>- 11 virtual extruders plus pure Magenta, Yellow, White and Black. The full table is in the last image.</p><p>- Slots: 1 Cyan, 2 Magenta, 3 Yellow, 4 White, 5 Black. All five are needed.</p><p>- 0.15 mm layers, no supports.</p><p>STATUS</p><p>Not test-printed yet, and the lit appearance is untested. The images are renders. Colours are the ones PrusaSlicer's mixing model predicts for the ColorMix filaments.</p>
