About this model
<p>This is a simple, lightweight blade guard designed to protect a knife edge and reduce accidental contact during storage or transport.</p><p></p><p>The open-frame design uses less material while allowing airflow around the blade. I printed mine in PLA, and it is still working well. For improved toughness and temperature resistance, PETG or ASA is recommended.</p><p></p><p>Printing suggestions:</p><p></p><p>Print flat on the build plate</p><p>No supports should be required</p><p>0.20 mm layer height</p><p>Three or more walls</p><p>PETG or ASA preferred; PLA is also suitable</p><p>Check the model dimensions against your knife before printing and scale if necessary</p><p>This guard is intended for storage and light transport. It is not a locking sheath, so verify that the fit is secure before use.</p>
