PLA does have limited long-term UV resistance though, so for the longest life we suggest bringing the piece indoors over the harshest UK winter months or siting it in part shade rather than full all-day summer sun. Light rain and normal seasonal weather are fine.
How do I look after the Hot Air Balloon Wind Spinner?
PLA softens around 60 °C, so avoid direct exposure to a hot car windscreen in summer, the top of a radiator, or a south-facing conservatory shelf. Dust with a soft dry cloth; for stickier marks, a damp cloth with a tiny amount of mild detergent works fine — don’t soak it, and don’t put PLA pieces in a dishwasher.
